BarcelonaGems Challenge

So much to do and see, so little time

Barcelona is one of Spain's most cosmopolitan city combines with extraordinary medieval history,  filled with life and culture, sitting on the beautiful shore of the Mediterranean. When i came across the BarcelonaGems Challenge i was itching to make a new post, it has just taken me a few days to figure out a perfect itinerary for a 4 day city break, as their is so much to cover from intriguing architectural sights and plenty of attractions but not forgetting AMAZING shopping..Plan,Plan,Plan
I have visited Barcelona before i had bubba, however that was 4-5 years ago, so it feels like a life-time ago, as it is one of my favourite places to visit i would love to take my mum with me if i ever got the chance to win this fantastic opportunity (and of course bubba, i wouldn't be able to leave him behind).

This is my 4 day break itinerary in the stylish city, Barcelona caters for everyone's needs whether you want to soak up the sun on the beach obviously depending what time of year you go, most famous for history cultural arts and spanish cuisine and a brilliant nightlife, however i would like to make the most of the day time sightseeing and beautiful long walks during the evening with yummy food.

Antoni Gaudi, Barcelona's famous prized architect, has created a number of masterpieces around the city centre which is a 100% must see, we would start with the most famous: The Sagrada Familia, then by foot admiring the city going onto Park Guell and La Pedrera,  Because there's so much to see, The Gaudi would take up a whole day to visit so i would want to do that on my first day to really get that feeling of 'Barcelona' as that is one of the top attractions.
Gaudi wasn't the only modernist architect, so i would like to check out other works by architects such as Cama Amatller if there was enough time to fit in the day.

So for day 2, i have planned a day at the ZOO!
I'm a sucker for the Zoo, when i visit any other country. Also how much fun would bubba have, this would be especially for him, as Kasra is obsessed with animals it would be such a fun day, it would be a truly wonderful day making memories, there is 4,000 animals to see at the zoo with 400 different species. WOW!
Barcelona zoo is situated in about five minutes from the city centre inside the urban park of Parc De La Ciutadella.

Camp Nou, Fc Barcelona One of the biggest stadiums in the world, i am not really a fan of football however i don't mind it, but this is an attraction i can't miss out on it really is a spectacular view and i would love to take bubba and my mum to show them how amazing it is. It is a great experience even if you are not a football fan.

Leaving the best to last on Day Four, a spa morning for relaxation and unwinding as the city can be quite on going and stressful, time to take a breather and put our feet up at the Yhi Wellness Spa, based in a sophisticated hotel, also how can we go to Barcelona and not shop that's also left to the last day for many of reasons so i don't go crazy on the first day and spend all my money on clothes.
Yes i am a shopaholic!
As i am fashion student i wouldn't be able to leave this creative city without visitng the Museu Textil d'Indumentaria (Clothing and Textile Museum) exhibiting fashion and clothing from the 16th century to the gothic periods, also showcasting collections of jewellery.

So the last day will be spent on Las Ramblas, walking along the promenade and sitting down for a coffee people watching.
The perfect end to the best city break in Barcelona.
