Everything happens for a reason right? It's officially graduation season which means everyone including me is searching for that dream job, i was invited in for a interview in London on Friday which was extremely exciting.
So what should you wear to a job interview within the fashion industry? well it depends what role you've applied for to be honest. Being smart at all times is a must and one thing i have learnt over time is, you should wear something you feel comfortable in and always be yourself. Basically your clothes should do all the talking and make a statement as you are applying for something fashion related. This outfit certainly grabbed attention as i got asked to do some street style photos, and my interviewers both complimented me on my outfit, especially my hat which was a good start i decided to wear something trend lead because of the role however i still tried too keep my look smart. Lastly the most important pointer don't over do it, this may sound stupid but be clean (having greasy hair and chipped nails isn't going to impress anyone) and if you're really struggling just wear black, its safe easy smart and sophisticated.
"Your outfit tells me two critical things right off the bat: how well you understand our brand and how important the interview is to you, In the end, it is all about dressing for the position you want and sending the message that you are the right fit for the company and for the particular team you want to join."
