I want to thank you guys so so much for visiting mybubbaaandme i truly sincerely appreciate it from the bottom of my heart, my stats have recently doubled over the last few months. I truly cannot believe that nearly 2,000 of you lovely guys visit my blog every day!! even tho i don't check my stats on a regular basis it's nice to know that i am reaching out to you guys and all my hard work, is all worth it in the end.
I've wanted to do this post for quite a while 'tips for becoming a successful blogger' as i get quite a few people e-mailing me/messaging me how to set up a blog etc.. i am no way saying i am a 'successful blogger' I'm just sharing a few tips that I've learned along the way, i still feel like i have a long long way to go in the industry and I'm nowhere near my goals/targets/dreams or whatever you like to call them. I think everyone defines the word 'success' in different ways, so step one is to define what a successful blogger means to you. With so many blogs out there already whether it's fashion, lifestyle cooking etc you have to think about is what will make your blog stand out from the rest. Believe you, me every 'Tom Dick and Harry ' has a blog or is setting one up so you really need to find your niche.
The 'blogging world' is very very secretive and competitive no one wants to tell you anything, but people are not scared to ask you how you go about doing things. Each to their own to be honest! Me personally i don't ask anyone anything personal as i feel that everyone has a different work ethic, so what might work for 'X,Y,Z' might not necessarily work for me, mybubbaandme and the reason i bring this up is because i was recently approached with what i call very personal questions such as 'How much money do you make from your blog, what's your stats, how do you get invites to events' to be honest i don't mind answering any of these questions if they weren't so abrupt and possibly worded differently such as 'Do you monetize your blog,do you mind me asking...?'
Be considerate of what you say to people.
If you've set your blog up for freebies stop straight away, people are so quick to jump on the bandwagon for all the perks and don't take in consideration to what goes on 'behind the scenes', it's not as easy as it looks. It takes time, effort and passion. The key factor of running a successful blog is networking and marketing you can look as beautiful as you want but if you can't market your posts who's really going to see your imagery, there are several ways of doing this social Media, writing sponsored posts etc...the fashion industry is all about who you know and not what you know, as much as i hate to say it.
Tips: consistency, quality over quantity, Share what you love/ offer value, GET PERSONAL.
