The contrast side stripe on these River Island trousers are the main focus of this whole outfit which i cannot get enough of, i came across a pair of joggers on ASOS which are a little bit similar just before fashion month which i loved but when i saw the actual trousers i was sold straight away!

Why was i sold on the River Island pair? Obviously because i can get more use out of them and wear them dressed up or down however on this occasion i decided to dress them up. Do not be surprised if you see me styling them with a pair of white trainers and sweatshirt soon too.

I never thought i would actually look forward to Mother’s Day but now i’m a Mother that’s all changed as much as i love giving, i do also love receiving and there is nothing more i would love than a gift from PANDORA- have you seen their Mother’s Day Gift Sets
Well i have and to say i am in love (is an understatement). It's crazy how the small things in life can make you happy- from holding my little boy's hand to opening a gift set. This beautiful Sparkling Love Knot Gift Set is literally the perfect present.
Styling jewellery can be quite difficult at times, so i find keeping my outfit as simple and understated as possible really brings out a piece jewellery and in this case my PANDORA necklace really compliments my outfit rather than the other way round! As for me who barely really wears earrings i couldn’t help but to pop these beautiful minimalist earrings  to add a special touch to Mother's Day.

Is Fashion Week overrated?

This is an outfit i'd planned to wear to NYFW swapping the jeans for a co-ord look however with the weather hitting -20 i couldn't even bare to open half my suitcase last week and be 'fashionable' after struggling with 3 luggages, paying excess baggage of £80, spending over £600 worth- on new clothes- I ask myself has the novelty of Fashion Week worn off?

As LFW finishes up I feel the novelty of 'Fashion Week' definitely has worn off by listening to others- especially bloggers, which is a real shame. However I look forward to seeing what Milan and Paris has to bring to the table, as the collections shown in New York and London really were breathtaking that's what it's really about at the end of the day right? Even though i prefer the atmosphere outside the shows personally and all the amazing street style.

With Mother's Day fast approaching, I have been given the opportunity to collaborate with the beautiful jewellery brand PANDORA. This has really got me thinking about the unique trait that has been passed down from my mum to my generation!

The unconditional love and kindness shown by my mother (or Grandma as I like to call her now) throughout the years, has been inspiring and made me the person I am today so i really wanted to go all out this year and treat her to something special, the gift i chose her has a unique blend of metals combined to create a feminine and warm beauty, the rose feather pendant and to compliment the stunning necklace and the entwine ring.

Obviously, I cannot be more thankful for all the sleepless nights she's endured over the years- and I can assure you she's probably had a few of them, not only when I was a baby but also when I hit the clubbing scene at the age of 18. She was there for me when I wanted to move to London and pursue my path/career in fashion! She managed somehow to convince my dad that I didn't need to become a lawyer- not that I had the brains for that, but you know a parent can dream!

She even accepted the path of my love for my husband and all the complications that came alongside it (let's just say it was a very rocky road). If I could pass anything down to bubba, it would be the importance of kindness. I don't care what path he decides to take in his life or the decisions he makes- wrong or right. As long as he is kind, I would feel like I have achieved one of my goals as a Mother.

Truly there is no love like a Mother's love and I could not be anymore grateful for all mine has done for me. I often ask myself how I will ever repay her with that same kindness, love and affection she has consistently shown me. What I can say is: Thank you and i hope the jewellery from PANDORA will make up for all the kindness throughout the years!

If you're looking into NYFW next season you need to visit The Chatwal Hotel whether you plan to stay there or just to go for some dinner/drinks. I've just got back from NYFW and to say i was impressed with the 5 Star Luxury Hotel would be an understatement, The Chatwal Hotel really did live up to it's 5 stars and my first season that extra bit special.

The 5 star luxury hotel in Midtown literally offers you the best location- with the shows scattered all around New York it was great to stay somewhere central. Of course when you're booking a hotel for NYFW the location of the hotel should be your number one priority and as The Chatwal Hotel is literally located steps away from Times Square (2 blocks exactly) and a short walk to the Rockefeller Centre it meets all your tourist attractions needs too as it sits in the heart of the Theatre District.

As a blogger free-wifi is a MAJOR PLUS and always comes as a priority! NYFW is a 'working' trip for myself and no wi-fi means no 'working' however the 5 star hotel offered free wi-fi which was perfect- as i could keep all you guys up to date with my whereabouts and style!

I was lucky enough to stay in the Junior Suite- Yes the Junior SUITE! I felt like i had to be dragged out the room at times with the weather hitting minus 16, the modern room had suede covered walls, italian linens and a bathroom to die for- a rainfall showerhead with a built in tv. The selfies were a game changer i tell you.

From the moment you enter the hotel you completely forget about the busy streets of New York, the hailing of yellow cabs and the minus 16 weather- the Hotel had a very exclusive feel about it, with a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Their famous restaurant, Lambs Club Restaurant which served breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner is definitely a hot spot especially during NYFW- apparently it's a 'millionaires playground' which i could definitely see.

The Chatwal Hotel also offered an on-site spa with an indoor swimming pool-which is so ideal after a long walk around central park. Being a tourist in New York can be very tiring- very fun but very tiring!

I cannot recommend The Chatwal Hotel enough for NYFW!

The reality of NYFW is i'm wearing 3 jumpers, 2 pairs of trousers and toe heaters- yes i didn't even know such things existed either until i hit the pharmacy this morning however tackling -16 is no joke!
I was prepared for the cold but not on this level, lets just say it's not fun and my friendship with Hannah/ A Fashion Fix is hanging on by a thread with all my moaning.

With 35kg of clothes in a suitcase you would think i had so many options to tackle the cold but i assure the only thing i could hack wearing was knee high boots, striped retro sweater ,beanie hat and a long line coat and this outfit was literally running from the door to a taxi door to a show- and a pit stop at Ralphs coffee shop.
