Can you get your GED without taking classes?

You don’t have to take a preparation class to get yourself ready for the exam. You can find GED preparation books at the library or bookstore. Online GED exam questions and practice tests can also be useful. You can’t take the official GED exam online; it must be taken at a proctored testing center.

Does RCC have a GED program?

RCC offers Adult Basic Education (ABE) and GED® preparation classes to anyone who does not have a high school diploma or needs to review basic skills and is at least 16 years old.

What happens if you fail a GED test?

What if I don’t pass all the tests the first time? If you did not pass one of your GED® test subjects, you are given two subsequent retests, with no restrictions between retakes. If you fail the third or any subsequent retest, you must wait 60 days for your next attempt.
